There I was, a fearless 17-year-old trying to become a pro snowboarder. At the time I was I was a weekend worrier but I had ambitions of going to the olympics.
Everything got derailed the day I broke my back because of bad goggles and low light. After that day, suddenly I realized I was not invisible and fear took over my life. I saw my dreams squashed forever.
Then something amazing happened...
I dated a snowboard instructor who taught me how to snowboard correctly and I learned how to snowboard without getting hurt!
Instantly it became crystal clear to me how to progress faster.... it was by snowboarding in a smarter way. Now, I saw how to live my snowboard dreams without sacrificing my body and health.
My plan was to start sharing my newfound knowledge with the world and help prevent that dreaded visit to the hospital.
I started coaching snowboarding so I could share my message with as many people as possible.
But I didn't stop there.
